The Mystery of Emotions

Sometimes, it is difficult to express emotions with words. Through this piece, I was able to express my emotions, release them and transform them into music. Each passage follows a state of mind: the melody takes its time to settle in, then the guitar takes off and grows more intense, before returning to calm. This is how The Mystery of Emotions was born, like a language without words to say what I was feeling.

Composed during my musical rebirth, it is one of the first pieces recorded for my new instrumental album project. I play guitar and bass on it, and I reunited with Maxime Veilleux on drums, my bandmate since Maître de ton destin. My cousin Éric Bernard, of Productions Guitare Verte, handled the mixing. Released in March 2023, it marks an important moment for me: the moment when music became a refuge again and a way to tell my story.
