Destinée : An Unforgettable Collaboration with Nico

In 1993, Donald Loignon had the opportunity to contribute to the album Destinée by Nico (also known as Nicolas Roy). Recorded at Stéphane Rancourt’s studio, this album highlights Nico’s songwriting talent while incorporating well-crafted instrumental passages.

Thanks to the artistic direction of Stéphane Rancourt and Nico, the guitar plays a significant role, allowing Donald Loignon to add his musical touch.

Nico’s heartfelt lyrics, inspired by his personal experiences, are paired with dynamic and expressive compositions. Consisting of eight tracks, Destinée is a rock metal album driven by raw and authentic energy.

Donald Loignon has fond memories of this collaboration and thanks Nico for this great musical experience.
