About this video
“Angoisse,” a heavy rock ballad from “Destinée,” the debut album by Nico, also known as Nicolas Roy, immerses the listener in a dark and introspective atmosphere. The lyrics, deeply rooted in the artist’s personal experiences, explore universal themes such as pain and resilience, giving the piece a particularly emotional dimension.
The mood of the song is further enhanced by the guitar solos of Donald Loignon, which add intensity and depth. As an excellent composer, Nico masterfully combines the sensitivity of a ballad with the raw power of rock, creating a captivating and memorable piece, emblematic of his album “Destinée.”
