About the album
Maître de ton destin marks a milestone in Donald Loignon’s musical journey. Entirely instrumental, the album features 15 tracks in which the guitar takes centre stage, both in melodic expression and in the rock energy of the arrangements.
It brings together original compositions, a spirit of freedom and a desire to tell stories through music. The album combines different musical colours and reflects in-depth work on composition, playing and production.
With Jean Bolduc on bass and Maxime Veilleux on drums, the album was recorded and mixed at Studio Séquence.
